Rotating a PDF turns its pages so they display the right way up. Scans and phone captures often come out sideways, and a quarter turn fixes them permanently rather than forcing every reader to tilt their head. Choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees and the rotation is written into the file itself. It runs in your browser, so the document stays on your device.
How to use it

- Pick how far to rotate: 90 degrees for a sideways scan, 180 for upside down.
- Rotate, then download the corrected file.

Frequently asked questions
- Does rotating change the file permanently?
- Yes. The rotation is saved into the document, so every viewer opens it the right way up. This is different from turning the view in a reader, which only affects your screen and is forgotten when you close the file.
- Why does my PDF open sideways?
- Scanners and phone cameras record the orientation they captured, and a page fed in sideways stays sideways. Some documents also carry a rotation flag that not every viewer honours the same way. Rotating here fixes both cases.
- Can I rotate only some pages?
- Not yet — this turns every page by the same amount. To fix a single page, split it out first, rotate it, then merge the pages back together. Per-page rotation is on the roadmap.
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. Rotation happens inside your browser and the document never leaves your device, which matters for the scanned personal paperwork that most often needs straightening.
