Privacy Policy

EkaanHub is built so that most of what you do here never reaches us in the first place. This page explains exactly what happens to your files and your data, in plain language.
Your files never leave your device
Every tool on EkaanHub today runs inside your browser. When you merge a PDF, compress a photo or edit a document, the file is read and processed by your own computer or phone — it is never uploaded to us, and we never receive, see or store it. You can prove this to yourself: load a tool page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool still works.
This also means we cannot recover a file for you, and there is nothing on our side to delete. If we later add tools that genuinely need a server — high-quality document conversion and text recognition are the likely first ones — those tools will say so clearly on the page before you use them, files will be deleted automatically within two hours, and this page will be updated in the same release.
We do not ask you to sign up
There are no accounts, so we hold no name, email address, password or profile. Nothing you do here is tied to an identity, because there is no identity to tie it to.
What we measure, and what we do not
To learn which tools are useful and which are broken, the site sends a small event when a tool page opens, when a tool starts, when it finishes, and when it fails. Each event contains only: which tool, which of those four things happened, a timestamp, how long the job took, an error code if one occurred, and a random key that changes every day and is discarded when you close the tab.
It never contains your files, their names or contents, anything you typed into a calculator, your name, or your email. At present these events are not stored at all — the endpoint receives them and immediately discards them while the platform is being built. When we do begin storing them, it will be in this aggregated, non-identifying form, and this page will say so.
There is no advertising network, no third-party analytics service, no Facebook pixel, and no cross-site tracking of any kind on this site.
What is stored on your own device
A few preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage so the site behaves the way you left it — your light or dark theme, your preferred currency, and whether you dismissed a banner. These stay on your device, are never sent to us, and are removed if you clear your browsing data. See the Cookie Statement for the full list.
Our hosting provider
The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, their servers necessarily process the technical information every internet request carries — such as your IP address and browser type — in order to deliver the page to you and to protect against abuse. We do not add any tracking on top of this, and we do not receive a log of who visited.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to GadgetCrisp, our sister site, and to external references. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Children
EkaanHub is a general-purpose set of utilities and is not directed at children. Health calculators that estimate weight loss are restricted to adults and say so on the page.
If you write to us
The contact form is the one place on EkaanHub that collects personal data, and only because a reply is impossible without it. It asks for your name, your email address and your message, and sends all three to our own mailbox at feedback@ekaanhub.com. Nothing else about you is attached — not the page you came from, not which tools you used.
That is the whole purpose. Your address is not added to any mailing list, not shared with anyone, and not used for advertising. The message stays in the mailbox until it has been dealt with and is then deleted; ask us and we will delete it sooner. The form needs no account, and it never will.
One company sees it in passing: Resend, the service that carries the message from this website to our mailbox, in the same way a postal service handles an envelope. They process it only to deliver it. We use them rather than our own mailbox password because their key can only send mail — if it were ever exposed, it could not be used to read anything you have sent us.
Your rights
Data-protection law gives you rights to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. In our case there is very little to exercise them on: there are no accounts, and the usage events described above contain nothing that identifies you. The single exception is a message you have sent us through the contact form. Reply to it, or write to the address below, and we will show you what we hold and delete it.
Who runs this site
EkaanHub is operated by GadgetCrisp, a sole proprietorship registered in India. For any privacy question, use the contact form or email feedback@ekaanhub.com.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. We will not quietly start collecting something this page says we do not.
