Cookie Statement
Last updated 1 August 2026
EkaanHub sets no cookies. Not for advertising, not for analytics, not for anything else. That is also why you have not been shown a cookie consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.
Why there is no banner
Consent banners exist because most sites place cookies that track you, usually on behalf of advertisers. EkaanHub has no advertising network, no third-party analytics, and no cross-site tracking, so the situation those banners were designed for simply does not arise here. We would rather remove the reason for the banner than add one and interrupt you with it.
What we do keep, on your device
The site remembers a few preferences using your browser’s own local storage. This is not a cookie: it is never attached to network requests and never transmitted to us — it stays on your computer or phone and is only read by the page you are looking at.
| Name | Where | What it is for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
ekaan-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme, so the site does not flash the wrong one. | Until you clear it |
ekaan-currency | Local storage | Remembers the currency symbol you picked, so money calculators keep showing it. | Until you clear it |
ekaan-sister-rail-dismissed | Local storage | Records that you dismissed the GadgetCrisp banner, so it stays hidden instead of returning on every page. | 30 days |
ekaan-sk | Session storage | A random key that groups the usage events described in the Privacy Policy into one visit. It is not tied to you, and a new one is generated each day. | Until you close the tab |
How to remove it
Clearing site data for ekaanhub.com in your browser settings removes everything in the table. Nothing breaks — the site simply returns to its defaults and forgets your theme and currency. Private or incognito windows discard it automatically when you close them.
If this ever changes
Should we ever need a genuine cookie — a login session, for instance, if accounts are added — this page will list it before it is set, and anything non-essential would ask you first. See the Privacy Policy for what is and is not collected.
