- Are both start and end dates counted?
- Yes. This calculator counts inclusively, so 1 July to 31 July includes both those days. That matches how leave applications, notice periods, and delivery timelines are normally counted.
- Which days count as the weekend here?
- Saturday and Sunday. If your workplace runs a different week — a six-day week, or Friday-Saturday weekends — add the difference through the holidays field to adjust the total.
- How do I handle regional holidays?
- Count the holidays that actually apply to your office or state and enter that number. Holiday calendars vary widely by country, state, and even by employer, so a fixed built-in list would be wrong more often than right.
- Can I calculate my notice period end date?
- Yes — set the start date to your first notice day and the end date to your intended last day, then check whether the working-day count meets your contract's requirement. Note that many contracts count calendar days, not working days, so check the wording.
